Two-story
house with an L-shaped floor plan, a total area of 100 m2,
a four-sloped roof with Byzantine-style roof tiles,
masonry at its base using stone from Athytos, and eaves
inspired by the type of wide-gabled traditional house with
a roofed verandah that is characteristic of Halkidiki.
An
outdoor area of approximately 1000 m2 belongs
to it exclusively, with a separate entrance, a landscaped
garden with slabstone paving and areas of gravel, grass,
aromatic shrubs, decorative plants, forest trees, and a
parking area, with a metal trellis and walnut wood beams.
The
ground floor of the house, with an area of 50 m2,
includes a large unified area with a fireplace and
limestone-covered walls, which includes two living rooms,
a kitchen, a dining room, and a bathroom. The owner may
choose among a large variety of flooring tiles and
bathroom fixtures. The living room areas have large doors
opening onto a comfortable verandah, in direct contact
with the landscaped garden.
The
ground floor areas include a covered barbecue area and an
outdoor dining area that communicate with the kitchen, as
well as outside supporting facilities such as the furnace
and the storage room. There is the possibility of
converting these spaces into a kitchen or a guest room.
The
entrance, with access from the street and the private
parking areas, is located at the back of the house and is
covered.
The
upper floor, with an area of 50 m2, includes
three bedrooms, one bathroom, embedded storage areas
(closets), a large verandah with a sea view in the front,
and a small balcony in the back. A wooden trellis covers
the veranda. There is also the possibility of arranging
the floor with two large bedrooms and a bathroom.
